Completed his law school studies from the Ateneo de Manila University. He took his oath as a Philippine lawyer in 2004. In 2005, he took and passed the New York Bar Exam. The next year, he became a member of the New York Bar Third Judicial Department. As a New York lawyer, he is authorized to practice federal law, including US Immigration.

Atty. Claudio has a weekly column in Mindanao Times where he discusses various issues touching on US Immigration.
